Tim Lovell was a fan favorite and joy to watch as an Arizona State Sun Devil.
His skating and stickhandling skills were constantly on display at Mullett Arena as he quarterbacked the team’s power play and breakouts during his time in Tempe.
Lovell was nominated for the Hobey Baker Award as college hockey’s top player in his final season with ASU, scoring 5 goals and 32 assists for 37 points in 36 games.
He transferred to Michigan following his senior season to play out his graduate year with the Wolverines.
The Sun Devils wore their Barry Bonds/Baseball set gamers across two seasons. They were worn in 5 games in 2022-2023 (with 2 of those games being a separate Mullett Arena patched set) and in 6 games in 2023-2024.
Tim Lovell wore this sweater in all three games of the set in 2022-2023 and tallied two assists while wearing it. He also wore it in all six games in 2023-2024, scoring 2 goals and 3 assists in those games.
In total, Lovell wore the sweater in 9 games while tallying 2 goals and 5 assists.
Timmy’s jersey has some decent visible wear which allowed for several photomatches.
The right sleeve is fairly clean with just a few faint stick marks. There is more wear on the left sleeve with burns, stick and puck marks.
Most of the visible wear that allowed for photomatching was found on the front of the jersey.
Just above the right collarbone and just below the “AS” shoulder patch, there is a huge burn hole that has been repaired and has subsequently come partially unrepaired again. There are also a few faint stick marks in the body, along with some darker stick marks to the left of the front #27. You can also see some loose threading in the Devils wordmark crest.
The back shows a small unrepaired hole and a burn/burn hole in the back left shoulder/armpit area but is otherwise clean.
This jersey shows a decent amount of interior pilling in the back hem.
These Barry Bonds/Baseball sets had set tags marking them as an Arizona State Authentic Game Jersey.
