Ty Murchison was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers 158th overall in the fifth round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
The California born defenseman spent four seasons in a shutdown role for the Arizona State Sun Devils before turning pro after the 2024-2025 season.
Murchison earned his first call-up to the NHL in December of 2025 and played in three games for the Flyers making him the fourth Sun Devil to play in the National Hockey League.
He made his NHL debut on December 9th, 2025 against the San Jose Sharks in a 4-1 victory for the Flyers.
The Flyers wore their Orange Set 1 jerseys in the first half of the season and they featured a patch honoring legendary Flyers goaltender Bernie Parent following his passing in September 2025.
Murch kept his debut jersey, so this Orange Set 1 jersey was worn in his second and third NHL games on December 11th and December 13th.
It has some visible wear with a nice board burn on the left sleeve that goes through both the #9 and the #6, as well as a blue paint transfer mark on the left elbow.
There are a few loose or wild threads on the Parent patch and the crest.
The IBX sponsorship patch has also been improperly cut and has some white border showing.
All of the above marks, threads, and imperfections are visible in photos of Murchison in his second and third NHL games.
One other item of note with the jersey is that it was originally crested for Zayde Wisdom, but was later re-customized to Murchison after his call-up in December.
