Michael Bunting began his professional career with the Springfield Falcons prior to their relocation and rebranding to the Tucson Roadrunners.
Bunting spent one season in Springfield, playing in 63 games and scoring 11 goals and 14 assists.
The young winger eventually blossomed into an impactful forward for the Roadrunners across several seasons before finally getting a shot with the Arizona Coyotes in 2020-2021.
The Ontario native parlayed that productive cameo into a two-year deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs and promptly became one of the best values in hockey, scoring over 20 goals in back-to-back seasons while costing the Leafs just $950,000 against the cap.
The Springfield Falcons wore their red alternates in at least 8 games in 2015-2016 and Michael Bunting played in all 8 contests, scoring 0 goals and 2 assists.
Bunting’s red alternate has some wear with stick/puck marks in the sleeves, loose threading throughout (particularly in the FALCONS wordmark around the waist), and a prominent stick mark in the top silver band around the waist.
There is some mild wash wear and a faint board burn or two.
