Josh Doan played in 51 games in his rookie season with the Utah Hockey Club.
The Arizona native had a storybook debut with his hometown Arizona Coyotes last season, however the relocation of the Yotes to Utah meant that he would be playing hockey outside of the desert for the first time since he played for the USHL’s Chicago Steel.
After breaking camp with the Clubbers, Doan played in 9 games in Utah before being sent back to the Tucson Roadrunners. He returned to the UHC lineup on January 10th, and finally stuck in the NHL for good over the final 42 games of the 2024-2025 season.
Doan scored 7 goals and 12 assists in 51 games with the Utah Hockey Club, forming a solid third line with Jack McBain and Lawson Crouse.

It is unclear how many sets that Utah Hockey Club wore of their black home and white away jerseys in 2024-2025. There appears to have been two major sets of each style, but more sets could have been worn — particularly for the inaugural game.
Due to the time constraints with getting the franchise up and running after relocation from Arizona, the new ownership group chose to go with jerseys with UTAH wordmarks on both the home and away styles and the name Utah Hockey Club as a placeholder while spending the season determining their future moniker. These jerseys had inaugural season patches on both shoulders. They were also the first season of Fanatics taking over the NHL’s jersey contract and seem to be of the same or better quality than their adidas-era counterparts.
Black Set 2 was worn from December 18th, 2024 through the final home game on April 10th, 2025.
Josh Doan was active throughout the entirety of Black Set 2 after January 10th, 2025, and this jersey is photomatched to as early as January 14th, 2025 and quite a few games afterwards including every single home game from February 25th, 2025 to the end of the season.

Doan’s jersey has solid wear that is visible on both sleeves, as well as the front and back of the jersey.
The left sleeve has one very large burn hole above the sleeve numbers that has been repaired with a patch. There is also one large repair patch and several burns below the elbow of the jersey.
On the right sleeve there are multiple burn holes above the right sleeve numbers that were also patch repaired. The bottom of the right sleeve has several more burns, including along the seam of the sleeve of the jersey. There is also one large stick mark in the white band around the elbow.
An example of the set tags used on the Utah Hockey Club game worn jerseys.
Josh Doan’s jersey has an interesting patched repair next to the bottom corner of the “T” in the crest. It looks like someone bit his jersey, but is likely two cuts from getting butt ended from an uncapped stick.
The crest also shows good wear with multiple stick marks in the “A” of UTAH and another on “H”.
On the back of Doan’s rookie gamer there are stick marks in both the #9 and on the bottom of the #1.
The set tag is adhered to the top of the fight strap inside the back of the jersey.
