Cole Brady spent two years as the netminder for the Arizona State Sun Devils hockey program.
Brady came to ASU as a 5th round draft pick of the New Jersey Devils in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
He played in just 25 games in his two seasons for the Sun Devils, however, and never quite established himself as the unquestioned starter. After losing the starting job to Ben Kraws during the 2021-2022 season, Cole Brady transferred to UMass for his junior season.
Sun Devils hockey wore their brand new white jerseys in six games in 2021-2022 after unveiling them prior to the start of the season. They were added to the jersey rotation to replace the former white home jerseys from the second generation of ASU sweaters.
In general, Arizona State wore these new white jerseys very sparingly as they were superseded by the variety of white-based jerseys introduced beginning in 2021-2022 such as the club retro, the Vegas gold, the Barry Bonds/baseball, and the digi flame sets.
Cole Brady played in four of the six games the white set gamers were worn in.
He ended up with a record of 2-2 and a save percentage of .896 in the sweater.
Brady’s white game worn jersey has excellent wear for the four games it was used in.
There are a plethora of puck marks on the front of the jersey, including a very large mark to the left of the crest.
It also has some large marks on the shoulders on either side. The sleeves also have some nice puck marks, particularly on the right sleeve where Brady’s blocker would’ve been.
This jersey also has a few light marks on the back.
Inisde the back hem is a set tag proclaiming this jersey as an Arizona State Authentic Game Jersey. The tag states it was customized by Exclusive Pro Sports and that the head equipment manager at that time was Jon Laughner.
