Zac Larraza was selected by his hometown Phoenix Coyotes in the 7th round, 196th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, making him the first Arizona born and bred player drafted into the NHL
Larraza was selected for the USNTDP program and played there for two seasons after leaving the desert, starting a pipeline between Arizona hockey and the United States program
Won the 2013-2014 NCHC championship with Denver University
Signed to a PTO with the Admirals in December 2015 where he played 10 games scoring 2 goals and 1 assist, including 4 games and 1 goal in this sweater
Larraza also had a brief stay in Tucson with the Roadrunners in 2017-2018
Zac Larraza is currently coaching with the Jr. Coyotes here in the desert
Larraza’s jersey has very light wear with most of it showing in wash wear in the numbers
These Ads jerseys had sleeve numbers that were sublimated patches and look quite odd in person
The nameplate is also completely sublimated
Unlike previous Admirals jerseys, these did feature individually pieced back numbers (instead of sublimated patched back numbers, as well) though they are still sublimated instead of double-layered
It features the unique Milwaukee Brewers “M” patch which was only used for one season and is fairly hard to find
