Tyler Steenbergen is a former 5th round selection of the Arizona Coyotes in the 2017 NHL Draft.
He spent three seasons with the Tucson Roadrunners before heading to Liiga, the top professional league in Finland. He wore this sweater during the 2019-2020 season, his second with the Meeps.
Steenbergen’s jersey has fairly light wear which suggests this might have been one of two red sets he wore in 2019-2020. It would be strange for him to have done so — typically only the top prospects have multiple sets in Tucson — but it is possible.
There are a few light board burns in the sleeves. The front has some strange, very large stick or stain marks to the right of the crest. The hem has some huge thread pulls on both the front and back which show up in a variety of pictures.
The back of the sweater has a stickmark in the back numbers and a solid board burn in the black back around the waist. It is signed on the back numbers by Tyler since it came directly from the team.
