Tyler Gratton joined Arizona State via transfer from Penn State prior to the 2023-2024 season.
Gratton had played 123 games and scored 20 goals and 14 assists in his time with the Nittany Lions.
He was only in Tempe for a brief time before he was named captain of the Sun Devils by head coach Greg Powers.
The Pennsylvania native scored 12 goals and 6 assists as he helped Arizona State achieve a program record 24 win season. His 18 points led all ASU transfers for the 2023-2024 season.
Arizona State wore it’s Vegas Gold jerseys for five games in the 2023-2024 season, including four regular season games. The fifth game was an exhibition against the Arizona Wildcats club hockey team.
Tyler Gratton wore this jersey in all five of those games.
He scored two goals and two assists in ASU’s 16-0 exhibition win over Arizona. Gratton also scored 2 goals in the four regular season games in this sweater with both goals coming against #2 ranked Denver. His goal on November 10th, 2023 against Denver was the overtime winner.
Gratton’s jersey has mild wear for a five game worn sweater.
There are long loose threads in the left shoulder number and in the “D” on the DEVILS crest. The crest itself is interesting as it appears the letters were placed and then taken up and placed again as they were not quite centered originally.
The sleeves show small unrepaired holes in each sleeve, and the left sleeve shows most of the wear with some marks, burns, and paint transfer.
ASU had set tags in each of these jerseys that declare them as an Arizona State Authentic Game Jersey.
