Pekka Rinne is the gold standard all other players are measured against for the Nashville Predators.
The goaltender holds all of the relevant franchise records for his position and retired after fifteen years backstopping the Preds on Broadway.
Rinne won the Vezina Trophy as the best goaltender in the league during the 2017-2018 season, also finishing as the runner up for the award in 2010-2011 and 2014-2015.
In 2022, Pekka Rinne became the first Predators player to have his number retired and raised to the rafters at Bridgestone Arena. The club built a statue of the Finnish netminder that was unveiled in 2023.

The Nashville Predators wore their Gold Set 2/Playoffs Set jerseys in 19 regular season games and 6 playoff games from January 16th, 2016 through May 9th, 2016.
Notably, this jersey was worn in the longest playoff game in franchise history when Pekka Rinne backstopped the Predators to a victory against the San Jose Sharks in Game Four of the Western Conference Semifinals in triple overtime. The jersey is photomatched to the on-ice celebration after the win, as well as during the game.
Pekka Rinne’s jersey has solid wear with a nice bit of puck marks on the front, shoulders, and sleeves. There are also some scuffing and/or burns on the sleeves.
