Before he was a media superstar, Paul Bissonnette was selected in the 4th round of the 2003 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He spent parts of four seasons in the AHL with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton before earning a full-time job in the NHL with the Phoenix Coyotes.
Biz wasn’t very productive in the AHL, but as time went on he began to rely more and more on his fists than his stick to earn a living. In 2005-2006 he fought 8 times for WBS, but by the 2007-2008 season he fought 25 times for the baby Pens.

Paul Bissonnette’s white gamer has decent wear with board burns and unrepaired holes in both sleeves. The right sleeve has the majority of that wear and is the most easily visible on the sweater. There are also marks above the elbow in the white areas of the sleeves.
The front of the jersey has some stick marks above the crest. One above the head of the crest is still very dark, and the other above the penguins’ bicep has lightened with repeated washings. The mark above the crest’s arm is visible in at least two photos of Bissonnette from that season.
The crest itself has a slash mark running through most of it’s body that is also visible in a couple of photos of Biz in 2005-2006.
There are stick/puck marks in the body on the front and back of the sweater. The sleeve numbers have loose threading throughout and that can also be found on the back name and numbers.
