Kimmo Timonen wore this mustard Third Set 2 game worn jersey for the Nashville Predators during the 2005-2006 season. The sweater features the alternate captain’s “A” on the left breast.
The Preds wore these third jerseys (set 2) for five games from 1/6/06 to 4/8/06, and Timonen was active for all five of those contests. He had 2 assists while wearing the sweater.
This beautiful mustard gamer doesn’t have a ton of wear, but there are some decent marks on it despite how few games it was used in. There’s a decent mark about below the crest as well as one in the silver band near the hem. There is some wear in the sleeves, including a decent sized pull below the #44 on the right sleeve.
Kimmo Timonen was the premier offensive defenseman in Predators history until the emergence of Shea Weber. He had 50 points for the Preds in 2005-2006, which at that time was his career high. He would eclipse that points total the following season after being named captain of the Nashville Predators.
