Josh Doan played his first full professional season in 2023-2024 and most of that time was spent with the Tucson Roadrunners.
The Arizona native was named an AHL All-Star for the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic in February of 2024.
Doan finished the AHL regular season with 26 goals and 20 assists for 46 points in 62 games. He led all AHL rookies in goals scored and was tied for 7th in points.
After the season, he was named the 2023-2024 AHL All-Rookie team.
The former Arizona State Sun Devils captain made an impression in the NHL, as well.
Josh Doan made his NHL debut against the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 26th, 2024 and it was a historic one.
Playing on the same ice where he was a standout for ASU, the younger Doan scored two goals in his debut and finished with 9 points in 11 games in his first taste of NHL action.
The AHL issued special retro style jerseys for both the Eastern and Western Conference teams to wear during the warmups prior to the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic.
Josh Doan wore this black one during the warmups and signed it on the back.
These jerseys featured a circular American Hockey League logo in teal and white to mimic the colors of the San Jose Barracuda who were hosting the All-Star weekend. They also had Western Conference shoulder patches on the right sleeve and AHL All-Star Classic shoulder patches on the left.
One surprise about these jerseys is that they were actually produced by Violent Gentleman but done up as CCM jerseys on the exterior. You can tell the difference in the fabric of these jerseys versus the CCM-style gamers.
The jersey has an AHL Authentic tag on the fight strap.
