Hudson Fasching has spent four full seasons with the Tucson Roadrunners.
He’s been part of the club since 2018-2019.
On February 3rd, 2022 he was named the sixth captain in franchise history after Dysin Mayo’s call-up to the Arizona Coyotes turned into a long term stay.
Fasching has been a productive forward in Tucson in the three seasons he was on the ice. Despite only playing two games in 2020-2021, the Milwaukee native stepped right back into the lineup and scored 14 goals and 37 points in 51 games.
Hudson Fasching’s El Lazo sweater has some interesting details behind it.
He wore it in three games (10/29/21, 10/30/21, and 1/28/22) and missed the fourth game the set was worn in due to a call-up to the Arizona Coyotes.
On October 30th, 2021 he scored a hat trick and had two assists in this sweater.
The three games that Fasching wore the sweater in he had the alternate captain’s “A” on his chest. Shortly after the third game of the set, he was named captain and the captain’s “C” was added to all of his sweaters but he never wore it on the ice with the “C” on it thanks to his call-up.
Fasching’s sweater has okay wear for just three games. The right sleeve shows most of it with multiple board burns easily visible thanks to the material these El Lazo sweaters are made from.
He signed the sweater on the back since this one came directly from a team auction.
