Daniel Carcillo spent parts of three seasons with the Phoenix Coyotes during the mid 2000s.
Carcillo was known for his truculence, and he racked up 174 penalty minutes in 54 games before being traded to the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Ontario native fought 18 times for the Yotes in 2008-2009 before that trade. His final fight as a Coyotes player came in this sweater when he dropped the gloves against Garnet Exelby of the Atlanta Thrashers on February 19th, 2008.
Carcillo’s jersey shows light wear but has one very large stick mark across the head of the coyote crest. That stick mark has led to two photomatches of Carcillo celebrating scoring the game-winning shootout goal in that same February 19th, 2008 game against the Thrashers.
Daniel’s game winner was scored in the eighth round of the shootout.
