Andrei Nazarov wore this jersey during his final season with the Phoenix Coyotes in 2003-2004.
The Russian enforcer fought 13 times for the Yotes in their first season at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale.
The Coyotes were also in the first year of their rebrand from the kachina to the howling coyote and brick red and white. While the kachina eventually won out as the favored logo and look of the two, these white jerseys with the brick red stripes remain my favorites of the howling coyote era.
Nazarov’s jersey shows some wear with stick/puck marks, a mangled collar/neckline, and some wash wear. The jersey is customized with an extra coin fight strap in the front below the crest.
Andrei Nazarov fought at least three times in this sweater. He fought Chris Dingman, Scott Parker, and Andrew Peters.
