Steven Stamkos signed a 4-year, $32 million contract with the Nashville Predators as a free agent in the summer before the 2024-2025 season.
The future Hall of Famer was part of a new look Preds roster that included Jonathan Marchessault and Brady Skjei, but unfortunately the results on the ice didn’t quite meet the expectations off the ice.
Andrew Brunette’s club never found it’s footing and the offense floundered, struggling to score and affecting the stat lines of Stamkos, Marchessault, Josi, and Forsberg.
Stamkos played in all 82 games for Nashville, scoring 27 goals and 26 assists for 53 points.
The Nashville Predators wore their Gold Set 1 jerseys in the preseason and from Opening Night on October 10th, 2024 through December 23rd, 2024. The set was worn in three preseason games and 18 regular season games.
It’s a bit hard to track how many preseason games Stamkos was active in, however he was confirmed by MeiGray to have worn only this one jersey throughout Gold Set 1 so this sweater was worn in all 18 regular season games.
Stamkos tallied 5 goals and 6 assists in the 18 games he wore this Gold Set 1 gamer, including his first ever goal with the Nashville Predators on October 19th, 2025 against the Detroit Red Wings.
Steven Stamkos’ jersey has light wear for the amount of action it saw.
On the left sleeve, there are a couple of burns and a small mass of 2-3 repairs just below the white band in the elbow. The left sleeve also shows loose or popped threads at the hem of the wrist. There are more light burns on the right sleeve.
The font of the sweater shows the most wear with two light stick marks in and around the crest. On the right side of the sweater near the white band on the waist is a two inch or so long stick mark. Above the crest there is some damage wear the alternate captain’s “A” was removed from the sweater as Stamkos only wore it in a few select games.
The crest also features a white patch of thread in the navy of the sabretooth teeth, as well as another imperfection at the top of the tooth itself that shows up in some photos.
Stamkos’ jersey also has a couple of loose threads on the Tennessee themed guitar patch on the right shoulder.
From the back, there is a white scuff across the number towards the bottom of the back #9. The back #1 has a small white dot just below the guitar strings in the number. There is also a small mark on the left shoulder near the collar.
A good amount of pilling is visible inside the back of the jersey, and there are also signs of that pilling on the outside part of the jersey on the back, as well.
The jersey has MeiGray tagging.
