Kelly Klima joined the Arizona Coyotes organization and the Tucson Roadrunners in the 2018-2019 season, skating for 10 games in desert that season.
Kelly and his brother Kevin signed one-year deals with the Yotes organization prior to 2018-2019 after leaving the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the QMJHL. Kevin was the more accomplished of the brothers in the scoring department, however Roadrunners general manager Steve Sullivan was excited to grab the pair.
Kelly’s impact in his first season in Tucson was pretty minimal. He saw time in 10 games, but added only 1 assist in that time. He did fight twice, including once in this jersey versus Igor Shvyrev of the Colorado Eagles.
His jersey is pretty clean due to the limited action.
There’s a decent amount of pilling on the front left of the jersey from about the mid-point of the crest all the way down to the hem. There’s also a puck or stick mark in the front band that goes around the jersey.
Klima signed again with the Yotes organization for 2019-2020, but played in just 31 games in Tucson and 3 in Rapid City. He is currently signed to play with HK Hradec Kralove of the Czech league.
