David Legwand dominates the Nashville Predators record books in many statistical categories.
The original Predator is at the top or near the top of several franchise records for games played (1st), goals (2nd), assists (2nd), points (3rd), and game winning goals (2nd).
As the first draft pick in club history, a lot of the Preds’ early expectations were planted firmly on #11’s shoulders. While he never quite lived up to his billing as the second overall pick in the 1998 draft, he had a solid career and arguably might have reached a higher level if he’d have had more talent around him like he did in 2006-2007.
Legwand scored 17 goals and 31 assists in 64 games in 2002-2003.
The Nashville Predators wore their White Set 2 jerseys in 21 games during the 2002-2003 season. They were worn from December 19th, 2002 to March 6th, 2003.
Interestingly, the amount of games worn in the Nashville Predators sets on MeiGray’s 2002-2003 population report appears to be wrong and does not add up to the full amount of games played at home or away. It is marked as 15 home games in that timeframe, however there were actually 21 home games in that time frame.
The Preds wore special 5th anniversary patches in 2002-2003 to commemorate their 5th season in the National Hockey League on the right breast.
David Legwand wore this sweater in 20 of the 21 games of the set. He scored 5 goals and 8 assists for 13 total points.
Leggy’s jersey is covered in stick marks on the front side of the sweater.
The sleeves show board burns, unrepaired holes, red paint transfer, and more stick/puck marks. There is also some loose threading in the sleeve numbers.
On the back, more stick/puck marks can be seen.
This jersey has both Cutting Edge Sports and MeiGray tagging.
