Andy Miele spent one season in Tucson with the Roadrunners in what has been an illustrious career in the American Hockey League.
Miele has scored 416 points in 478 games in the AHL, being a productive player in several different organizations. He has skated in 15 NHL games, all with the (then) Phoenix Coyotes and tallied 2 assists.
After several seasons playing abroad, Miele returned to the US and signed a two-way contract with the Arizona Coyotes in 2019. It was a homecoming, of sorts, as Miele began his professional career in the Coyotes organization.
He scored 15 goals and 33 assists in 58 games in Tucson before returning to the KHL the following season.
Later, Miele was named captain of USA’s Olympic team playing in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Miele’s jersey has some nice wear throughout.
The right sleeve has a repair or two and a couple of small unrepaired holes. There are also board burns below the elbow. The left sleeve has a very large unrepaired cut in the upper copper band that goes around the elbow area of the sleeve. There are a few small repairs and burns, as well as a tremendous amount of pilling in the upper wrist and elbow area of the sleeve. Both sleeves are custom tightened to remove about an inch of width and looseness.
The front has stick marks in and around the crest, as well as a large amount of pilling. The right breast features the O’Rielly Chevrolet sponsorship patch. The waist and hem areas has very noticeable pilling across the front, as well.
The back has stick marks dotted around the back numbers. The waist has two small unrepaired cuts (one on either side) and even more pilling.
