Adin Hill wore this jersey throughout the 2017-2018 season, including in the Tucson Roadrunners first ever playoff series win over the San Jose Barracudas.
The former third round draft pick spent the Roadrunners second season as the primary starter once again, posting a .914 save percentage in 36 games.
Hill’s jersey has some decent wear with some of it visible despite the deep red of the jersey.
There are puck and stick marks on the front and back of both sleeves. There are also a few marks on the body of the jersey, though these are minimal.
The sleeve ends show a nice amount of pilling, and there is a red mark/stain in the copper and white band below the right sleeve on the back of the jersey.
Since their inception and adoption of the Roadrunners moniker, Tucson’s red, black, copper, and white coloring have been a hit among fans and jersey collectors. They only added to that fact when they released their own version of the Kachina as an alternate.
Hill’s jersey is an important piece of Roadrunners history. It was on the ice when the team clinched it’s first ever series, and in spectacular fashion with back-to-back shutouts.
Adin Hill is still working through the ups and downs of developing into an NHL goaltender. For the Meeps playoff run in 2018, however, he showed a tantalizing glimpse of what might happen if he puts it all together.
