Mike Sislo was a solid scorer at the AHL level in his career, scoring more than 20 goals in four different seasons. His arrival in Tucson in 2017-2018 coincided with the Meeps best season in club history.
Sislo set a single season franchise record of 23 goals which was subsequently tied but not broken until this past season when Michael Carcone scored 24 goals in just 48 games. The winger also put up a solid 47 points and was part of a dynamic offensive setup that also housed first round draft picks and future NHL 20-goal scorers Lawson Crouse and Dylan Strome.
Mike Sislo's jersey has light wear as it was a one-game wonder from Superhero Night on April 7th, 2018 against the Grand Rapids Griffins.
The Roadrunners lost the game, 4-1. The jersey has a board burn or two on the left sleeve and a bit of wash wear. It has the alternate captain's "A" on the front and a few other unique touches.
These Superhero Night gamers feature the rarely seen roadrunner head logo on one shoulder, as well as a completely re-designed Roadrunners logo on the crest.
The masked Dusty on the crest is some of their best work, and the overall coloring and desert motif fits extremely well with the Roadrunners aesthetic.
It's certainly one of the best specialty jerseys they've made that isn't a throwback or cribbed from an earlier Coyotes design.
