Kimmo Timonen jerseys are hard to come by on this side of the Atlantic.
Many of them have ended up in his native Finland, and a few others have seemingly disappeared. Therefore, adding another Timonen (and a mustard, nonethless!) is quite a treat.
Timonen was beginning his ascent into a top tier defenseman by 2003-2004.
He scored 12 goals and added 32 assists for what was then a career high 44 points. The next two seasons would see Kimmo break out into a 50+ point player from the blue line.
This mustard gamer has a fair amount more stick and puck marks than my Kimmo Timonen 2006-2007 Third Set game worn and way more the 2005-2006 Third Set 2 game worn I used to have.
There are no repairs, but there are burns on each sleeve and the sleeves are custom shortened.
I don’t know why it seems like the only Timonen’s I can find are mustard thirds, but I’m not complaining.
The hope for this jersey is that I can use it in trade for a Kimmo Timonen from the 2006-2007 season when he was captain. If you’ve got one of those and you are interested, let me know!
