David Tendeck was called up from the Rapid City Rush by the Tucson Roadrunners in the COVID-shortened 2020-2021 AHL season, but never saw any time on the ice.
He was issued this gorgeous 5th Anniversary Set jersey when the Roadrunners wore them on April 9th and 10th to celebrate their fifth season since moving to the desert from Springfield, MA.
The jerseys borrow from their kachina counterparts while featuring an enlarged fifth anniversary patch for the crest. I would’ve loved to see the crest be a recolored version of the Roadrunners kachina logo, with the fifth anniversary patch on the breast or shoulder instead of used as the crest.
Tendeck has been recalled again this season, but has still yet to see a game in the AHL with Tucson.
