Colten St. Clair spent four years at North Dakota culminating in being an alternate captain and winning the 2016 national championship
St. Clair was born and raised in Gilbert, AZ and played for the Phoenix Firebirds and PF Chang’s 18U AAA program (which eventually became the Jr. Coyotes AAA program)
He was a standout for Jim Johnson’s PF Chang’s 18U AAA team before originally committing to Colorado College and later finding his way to North Dakota
The hard working forward also spent three years in the USHL with the Fargo Force prior to college, where he found himself the club’s all-time scoring leader at the end of his tenure
St. Clair later returned to Arizona to be a skills coach with the Arizona Hockey Union, a travel hockey club in Gilbert where my son has played in the past
He is currently coaching in the USHL and currently serves as Associate Head Coach for the Sioux City Musketeers
St. Clair’s green set game worn jersey has good wear and features the 2014 Frozen Four in Philadelphia patch on the left sleeve
The right sleeve has a few picks/pulls, a burn or two, loose threads, and at least one repair
There is one repair on the left sleeve, along with some faint marks and loose threading in both the wrist and elbow stitching
On the right front breast of the sweater is the NCHC patch, along with a basketball style wordmark crest with the number on the front
Inside the neckline is Reebok tagging of size 56 and the equipment manager has notated the jersey as 13-14 in sharpie
There are stick marks both in and around the crest, as well as picks/pulls and loose threads
Below the crest, the hem of the jersey shows some solid pilling and there is a large pull on the right side and a large stick mark on the left side
The back shows stick marks and an unidentified stain in the numbers, as well as a stick mark in the “A” on the nameplate
There is one repair on the back hem, one small unrepaired cut, and another board burn near the cut
The back hem has North Dakota’s set tag sewn in at each of the four corners stating the jersey was used in 2013-2014 and is certified by Head Equipment Manager Dan Johansson
